Hong Kong / Japan Vacation 2007
Here are the pictures to me and Elena’s trip to HK -> Tokyo -> Kyoto.

This first batch of vids are from the Hong Kong leg of the trip.
This was on a day trip to china, where we went to visit Elena’s cousin and uncle.

Taking a stroll on a sunday in Tokyo
The fish market in Tokyo early in the morning. All the restaurants come here to buy their fish for the day.
In a department store where they have all these fancy desserts.
Tokyo at night
At a park near the Harajuku area. Lots of street performing bands line the side walks and try to sell their CD’s.
These were videos we took at a super fancy sushi bar we went to. There weren’t too many shots of food because we just kept eating it right after the chef served it to us. It was really good.
This was a more down to earth restaurant we stumbled across. It was more for busy business men that needed a quick place to eat. When we got there it was pretty empty though.

On our way to a whole bunch of temples, we had to walk through this bamboo forest.
Walking back from visiting the temples, Elena gets snappy with me.
We also visited this castle in Kyoto called the Nijo-jo castle. Inside were floors that squeaked when you walked on it, to detect intruders.
